Hello and here’s another amazing wedding for the new blog. This was my first overseas wedding and I think I now have the bug for destination wedding photography, especially when you have a gorgeous couple like Ashish and Alka.
We flew out on the day it snowed in the UK and at one point I was stuck on the M25 for 1.5 hours in standstill traffic, I really did not think I was going to make it. Fortunatley, lady luck was on my side and I made it on the plane, thanks to a crazy but fantastic taxi driver
.
The wedding took place in the resout of Sousa and although it rained, everyone had a great time at the wedding and during the week. The great thing about Ashish and Alka was that even with the challenges of organising an overseas wedding they did a fabulous job and you can see from the pictures below how great they both looked. We got some brilliant portraits and shots of the wedding day.
Thanks to all of the Patel and Bhalla family for making me feel so welcomed during the week.

The local’s were in love with this couple and everyone was clapping as we walked the streets of Sousua
This is one of my favourite images. The next day the locals had a sign up “motorbike for photo shoot $2 only”
This sunset was beautiful and it made me realise the simple things in life is what makes it so great!
