Firstly, a big apology to my blog readers for not posting regular through 2009. It was a big year for us both in terms of the business and personally, so unfortunately my passion for posting has been neglected somewhat. However, we shot amazing weddings and lifestyle shoots in 2009 and I promise to blog some of my favourite pictures of 2009 shortly.

In the meantime, here is our first blog for 2010 from our last wedding in 2009. Chitra and Simon got married in December at the Oshwal Centre for there Hindu Ceremony and for their Civil ceremony at beautiful stately manor called “The Elvetham” in Hampshire. Mehul and I had a great time covering there events and we were blessed with beautiful snow. Yes, it made getting to the venues a little difficult, but for their portraits, wow, we got some stunning shots, some of which are in the short slideshow below.

Ravi and Priya

We recentyl met Priya and Ravi for their pre-wedding shoot. It was a lovely day and from the images you can see what a great couple they make. The team will be covering there events in May. It’s always great to meet up with clients for coffee and we always seem to find mutual friends or clients we have captured in the past that we all know; a great ice breaker. The team are looking forward to capturing the event. In the meantime here are some of my favourite from the pre-wedding shoot.

Priya and Lawerence

We recently shot the wedding and reception of Priya and Lawrence at Manor of Groves. It was a lovely day, though I was a bit nervous as Priya was our first client booking without a client consultation. However, as you can see from the images below both Priya and Lawrence both looked stunning, and even better, I found a few lost friends at their intimate and special wedding ceremony.

It was also the first time surprisingly, we worked with Sandeep from http://www.shaadi-video.com and Laaj and Pattie Pune the make up artist team http://www.pattipanue.com. We had great fun working with them all and would recommend them to future clients for sure for videography and make up services.

Nishi and Philip Pre-wedding Shoot

Let me introduce you to a fabulous couple whose wedding we are really looking forward to capture in May. Nishi and Philip are a referal from Shrijal and Jays wedding who we covered last July. This couple have a lovely wedding planned at a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful location . Meeting up with them and talking about their plans for the big day has got us even more excited than before. Not only are Nishi and Philip really lovely people to work with, they also make a great couple as you can see from the pre-wedding shots.

Ashish and Alka – Dominican Republic

Hello and here’s another amazing wedding for the new blog. This was my first overseas wedding and I think I now have the bug for destination wedding photography, especially when you have a gorgeous couple like Ashish and Alka.

We flew out on the day it snowed in the UK and at one point I was stuck on the M25 for 1.5 hours in standstill traffic, I really did not think I was going to make it. Fortunatley, lady luck was on my side and I made it on the plane, thanks to a crazy but fantastic taxi driver .

The wedding took place in the resout of Sousa and although it rained, everyone had a great time at the wedding and during the week. The great thing about Ashish and Alka was that even with the challenges of organising an overseas wedding they did a fabulous job and you can see from the pictures below how great they both looked. We got some brilliant portraits and shots of the wedding day.

Thanks to all of the Patel and Bhalla family for making me feel so welcomed during the week.

This is one of my favourite images. The next day the locals had a sign up “motorbike for photo shoot $2 only”

This sunset was beautiful and it made me realise the simple things in life is what makes it so great!

Kiran and Kuldeep 27th December 2008

Wow, Wow, Wow. first post for our new blog and it goes to a beautiful couple whose wedding the team covered in December in 2008 in London. The wedding ceremony was at the Gurdwara in Illford followed by one of the most amazing receptions the team have captured at the landmark Grovesnor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.

Firstly, congratulations to Kiran and Kuldeep who both looked amazing on their wedding day. Kiran was a referal from our previous clients Esha and Kan who also had their wedding ceremony at the same venue in 2007.

Where do we start with this gorgeous wedding. Firstly both Kiran and Kuldeep looked great and we had such fun capturing their special memories throughout the day. Mel, from Glitter Ball Events did an amazing job with the decor at the hotel as you can see from the pictures below, as were Calibar who kept the dance floor swinging to the tunes.

However, the couple had also organised great entertainment for the guests from magicians, dhol players and the most amazing wedding cake. Live entertainment was also provided from “Britains Got Talent” runners up “Signature” and a live concert by the international bhangra singer “Sukshinda Shinda”.

We had a great time working with Bloomsbury Film who were capturing the special day on video.

Asha and Nikul

Wow, we are so lucky to have wonderful clients. Asha and Nikul got married mid week in August and we had a great time capturing their wedding day at the Oshwal Centre and their reception at Manor of Groves the following day.

It was great to work with Raynard from Photo-Video who captured the couples wedding video.

I have a confession, I always struggle now as to what to post on the blog. Our style and approach is to capture and document the day, the couple, the moments the details which all lead to a beautiful story. However, when looking through client images its always the portraits that attract me somehow as they tell the unique chemistry and magic between the couple.

Asha and Nikul are one couple who we really enjoyed capturing. They were so nice and easy to work with and I love the fact they gave us the opportunity to really capture some wonderful portraits.

Seema and Atul

Seema and Atul got married recently and we covered their 4 wonderful events. The wedding celebrations began with a beautiful registry wedding outside at Mickelfield Hall in Rickmonsworth. This venue is really elegant, has a relaxed atmosphere and stunning locations for photography. It was the perfect venue for the couple’s perfect wedding day.

In the afternoon the Hindu Ceremony was outside followed by a beautiful reception in the evening. A second reception was held on the following Sunday at the Jumeriah Hotel in Knightsbridge.

The couple were really lovely and we had a great time as always, capturing their special day.

Rupal and Pritesh

Rupal and Pritesh have a special piece in the history of our business. We have only been going for 2 1/2 years now but last year this special couple became our first “Facebook” clients.

Rupal and Pritesh are such a lovely couple. Pritesh is from Canada and I have to admit during the speeches it was lovely to hear how they met, their childhood antics and how their families were such an influential part in their lives. I also have to admit to Pritesh that I too was a Michael Jackson fan as a kid although unlike Pritesh there is no incriminating video footage
